I was able to acquire a large bag of goodies that belonged to one of my clients. She was a client before my beauty shop became the She Shed .

I have several things on my needles and my hook to be finished in May!

Therefore I am hoping that May is a productive month. I was not sitting around in April. However I had a couple road trips which slowed down my production line a bit!

Laela Martin of “The Stamping Ground”

I managed to get out and go to a local Trade Days event last week! It was almost completely outside, and despite being a bit windy and chilly, well attended.

I went specifically to see a friend of mine who lives close to me and is a fellow crafter! Her name is Laela, and she makes the most beautiful handmade cards! She is also a crocheter, and nomad crafter like me!

We had a great visit. I brought home a few of her cards too! I will show them in another video. Meanwhile, I hope you enjoy my little clip of her beautiful work.

I am so excited to bring you my first design! This is my Willow Arches Shawl. I came up with this design after using one of these stitch patterns in my Be “Squared” Crochet A Long.

I made mine using Willow Yarns Denim Grace, a medium 4 weight acrylic wool blend. This is a lovely yarn to work with and worked up beautifully!

This has been such a fun process! With getting the feedback from the testers to seeing their photos of their shawls, to filming the tutorials!

It’s cloudy and misty again today in Texas. Duke and I traipsed off on our walk anyway. He found himself in a predicament! Caught in the netting off the hay bales! He is so silly sometimes 😂🤣😂
